My second oil painting is ready!
Yes, Irene completed my second oil painting! I remember when the picture was made, in May last year. It was nice weather and I was enjoying the warm sunshine and all the amazing nature around me; the long green grass and the yellow buttercups. Although I couldn’t see their colors, I was immersed in all the scents and the soft touches I felt with my body. I felt so intensely happy among my friends, sharing the gift of nature.
I am overjoyed that Irene captured this moment and made this very special oil painting of me. Another wonderful gift which I will forever treasure in my heart ♥

Meet our new friend Stefan!
On facebook I promised yesterday that I have very special news… and this beautiful strong little guy will be joining our family soon! ♥
Normally we wouldn’t adopt another dog so quickly after Twix, but Irene already saw Stefan in early November last year and a while ago we suddenly received a message that he was ready for adoption and for traveling! So, after carefully listening to her heart, Irene decided that Stefan can come to live with us. We love him and he will be a wonderful new family member.
He is almost 6 years old and at the moment, he lives in a foster home in Serbia. His hind legs are paralyzed, probably caused by a hard blow or a car accident. About one year ago he was in a factory in Serbia where puppies were poisoned. Other dogs were attacking him and he couldn’t defend himself or find food to stay alive. He was found in the dark and really scared. They made x-rays and it was obviously that he had a spine injury. The damage caused pressure in his spine and this was painful, so he was operated. They also hoped that this hind legs would improve after the operation, but that didn’t happen. The most important is that he enjoys life and with us he will continue to love and live life fully! We can’t wait to meet him and welcome him into our family! ♥
A wonder dog…
Yes, I am definitely a wonder dog!
Today I had my annual blood test and in the picture you can see me waiting in the car until we were leaving (then I am sitting in my travel bag at a safe place) .
And I have very good news for you, all my blood values are amazingly well! Especially considering my age. My vet Paula was amazed and Irene can’t stop smiling.
After all I’ve been through, I am still very strong. My heart is strong, my body is strong and most important of all, my spirit is strong! A spirit filled with a zest for love, joy and life! ♥
My book!
Since December 2015 Irene and I are working on writing a book about my life. The book will not only be about my life, but also about the life of Irene before we found each other. And from there, from the moment we share our lives that brought and still brings so much magic.
Of course I will keep everyone updated about the progress of the book, on my Facebook page and at my website. It will be quite an adventure (I love adventures!) and it would be great if I can share this with you all and feel your support.
The ultrasound of my heart
Today I had an appointment with a heart specialist for an ultrasound of my heart. In June 2015 we discovered that I have heart failure and since then I receive medication. The medication helps me a lot.
I had a checkup to see how my heart is at the moment. And… I am very happy to tell you that my heart is still very strong! I have the heart of a lioness!!
Only the heart valves were more thickened, but overall my heart is as strong as it was 7 months ago. Also, my heartbeat was very calm and powerful. The specialist was really impressed, she doesn’t see this often with little dogs like me and especially at my age. According to her, I was an exception.
I remain a little wonder dog!
